THE CHURCH - THE EXPRESSION OF CHRIST IN THE EARTH BY J W LUMAN There are several points I want to share with you from Ephesians 1. I am going to be reading to you not out of someone's translation, but I'm reading to you out of the original Greek version of the Bible. You who receive our monthly tapes know that we are dealing with the Church - WHO YOU ARE. The Church is to manifest the appearing of the Lord in the earth - that's the purpose of the Church. You might say then that the order of the Church is actually the order of His appearing. I will tell you this - that the purpose of the Church is to manifest Him in the earth as He is in the heavens! "In the beginning", the scripture says, "In the beginning, God..." God's name in the beginning is "Elohim" and this sums up the Godhead - Father, Son and Holy Spirit is summed up in the term "Elohim". There was a plan and a purpose, the Bible says - the eternal plan of God that was established in the purpose called the mystery of God which is before the foundation of the world. And the Bible furthermore tells us that it was God's desire and eternal purpose and plan to bring unto Him many sons - that He would have many sons. He would have to Himself; that He would bring out from Himself and then again unto Himself many sons who would be the exact image, the exact expression of Himself. And that He would do all of this in His Only Son - in His One Son - IN CHRIST JESUS THE LORD. But that in Him he would have many sons all of whom are ONE SON - all of whom are the BODY OF ONE SON. We are the Body of Christ. God saw this before the foundation of the world. Ephesians the first chapter, verses 3 and 4 - "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." Now I'm going to read from the original text. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who blesses us (present tense), who blesses us with every spiritual blessing among the celestials in Christ." What do you mean "among the celestials?" We'll have to do a little search on this in the Word. We are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses - all those who have died in faith and been taken to the Lord. Everyone of them are IN CHRIST, and they are called "the celestials." There are bodies celestial, bodies terrestrial, that's what you are. There are bodies natural, bodies spiritual. There's that one body, which is Christ. What I want you to see is that I don't care where you are on the face of this earth, you are not alone - you are among the Saints of the ages - IN CHRIST JESUS. You can't see that with these natural eyes, but you've got to get your eyes open. One time Elijah, even in the Old Testament, Elijah took his servant out and he was all worried because the enemy chariots had them all surrounded and laid siege upon the city. And the old prophet said, "God, open the eyes of this young man." And the Lord did and he looked and outflanking all of those armies - surrounding the whole thing, and upon all the mountain tops were the celestials of the Lord! Hallelujah to God! The chariots of the Lord! The armies of the Lord! Blessed be the Lamb of God! Do you understand that? If we could just get our eyes open to see. But these natural eyes can not see, so Paul talks about another eye that must be opened - the eyes of your understanding - to understand where He has brought us and where He has seated us, and where He has placed us - IN CHRIST JESUS! Hallelujah! Among the celestials - in heavenly places - in places of heavenly abode. Many rooms in the Father's house, each room represents an individual, each room represents a celestial, each room represents a person. "I go to prepare a place for you" - a place that we may occupy - in Him. THIS IS THE REALITY OF BEING IN CHRIST JESUS. THE CHURCH WHICH IS HIS BODY Now look at this - "Who hath blessed us" - who blesses us now, not is going to - now, and where does He now bless us? IN CHRIST, because that's where we now are - in Christ - in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. And this is all what? "according as He hath chosen us in Christ, in Him, from before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy, without blame - where? - before Him in love." Now then, finding ourselves IN CHRIST, for He has chosen us where He has brought us. How did He bring us there? This is all foundational. You've heard all this but I want to bring it all together, because man, man as Adam, fell from the presence of God, fell from the plan of God, man, the first man - mankind. Do you know what color he is? He's white, he's black, yellow and red; he's the nations, he's the flesh; he's what fell short of the glory of God. Christ came - took upon him the FORM of that man, and he put him to death. And then in his resurrection, he brings forth A NEW MAN - by his own spirit. Look at Ephesians the second chapter. Ephesians 2, verse 4, "But God who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us..." What is the love wherewith God loved us? What is it to be loved of God? When are you loved of God and where are you loved of God? "Even when we were dead in sins he hath quickened us together with Christ." - Made us alive, together - the word 'together' means "as one" with Christ. What do you mean "as one"? I mean He has made us as the very body of the Lord Jesus Christ. This has to do with Christ being in you. That very quickening life that is in you - that salvation is CHRIST HIMSELF! If He dwells in you, who are you? YOU ARE HIS BODY! He won't dwell in the body of another - he dwells in His own body. But not only has He quickened us, He has raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus! Now here is where God saw us, here is where God chose us from the foundation of the earth, and this is where through the death, burial and resurrection of Christ we have been brought - in the Spirit, by the Spirit, we have been brought right into union with Him. Hallelujah! So that we have been quickened together with Christ; His Body is quickened, His Body is raised up and His Body is seated with Him in heavenly places. What is heavenly places? It's a realm that the eye can't see, the ear can't hear, that the natural mind can't conceive, but that the Holy Spirit reveals and causes us to understand that even though I'm standing on a brown wooden floor I am this morning IN CHRIST JESUS! GLORY TO GOD! Now, this is what He hath done - hath quickened, hath raised, hath seated us at His own right hand in heavenly places. He has brought us into a realm that we could never enter into but by Him because HE IS THE DOOR INTO THAT REALM! He is the door into that fellowship! He's the door into that relationship that we have with the Father and it's called in your Bible some 137 times being "IN CHRIST". Being in Christ. But what I want to show you is this is the description of His Body - of His Body - His Body is a Celestial Thing. His Body is celestial. His Body is heavenly. The church is earthly - not earthy, but earthly; visible, terrestrial. You can see it, you can feel it, you can touch it. See I can never touch all of His Body, because His Body is made up of saints of all ages, in heaven and in earth. I can never touch His Body, but I can touch His Church. Here's the Church sitting right here. There's no way I can serve His Body, His whole Body, do you understand what I'm saying, except I do it through His Church! Through the laying down of my life. How do I minister? To the church. Why? Because the Church is the visible manifestation in the earth of His Body and if it isn't, then don't call it the Church. Just call it religion, but don't call it the Church. Because that's what the Church is - THE CHURCH IS TO MANIFEST IN THE EARTH EVERYTHING CHRIST IS IN THE HEAVENS. THE CHURCH IS TO MANIFEST EVERYTHING IN THE EARTH THAT WE POSSESS IN HIM AS HIS BODY - EVERYTHING. THE CHURCH IS TO BE THE MANIFESTATION OF HEAVEN IN EARTH. THE CHURCH IS TO BE THE MANIFESTATION OF HEAVENLY PLACES IN EVERY PLACE. TO MANIFEST HEAVENLY PLACES IN ALL PLACES. THAT'S THE CHURCH! You see you don't go TO the church - YOU ARE the Church. You are the Church because the Church is the plain and simple manifestation of the Body, and the BODY IS WHO YOU ETERNALLY ARE. YOU ARE HIS BODY!! Those who are in union with Him! So what is the Church? The Church must be a people who live as in union with Him! Not just on Sundays, sing their songs, do their religious thing and go their way - that's not the Church. That's just people, maybe saved people, maybe spirit-filled people, but the Church is only really existent when it is a manifestation of a people living AS HIS BODY. You can call that the Church. You can't give the Body one definition and the Church another definition - you can't do that. Because the only definition the Church has is HIS BODY. Now that's what I want to show you. THE CHURCH A MANIFESTATION OF HIM Ephesians the first chapter, at the end of that chapter, verse 22, "...and hath put all things" (this is what I want to get to. This is from the original) "...given him a name that is named above every name that is named not only in this eon (which means age, and the King James Version says world, but there are several translations in your Bible for 'world' - one is kosmos which means the order, one is translated to mean the actual earth, and the other is translated inhabitants and another is the age. Here it is translated 'age', this present 'age') not only in this age but also in that age which is to come." and in the original it says " which is impending" - in other words that age is now impending - when something is impending it is being formed, it is being completed that it might be delivered, being made ready. There is an age which at this present time is being made ready. You are being made ready. At this present time you are being made ready to manifest Him in the earth. And you see His name is not only above this present age, His name is above that which will come. He is above. He is in charge of whatever is going to be manifested through you and I. This age and the age to come. This world and the world to come. "And subjects all under his feet and gives Him to be head over all to the church (and in the original the Church is translated as "ECCLESIA" - it means 'those who are called out and called together. Not just called out. The Ecclesia doesn't mean just called out, it means called together, called out as one, called together. A calling; it means an assembling, but it doesn't just mean getting a lot of people in a room, it means being assembled AS ONE. You see, you can get a lot of people in a building and have a dinner party. You can get a lot of people in a building and have a gambling hall. You can get a lot of people - it's not just getting a lot of people together and putting the name "CHURCH" over it. No - Ecclesia is that people that are called OUT and they are called TOGETHER. They are called together, and that word 'together' means "ONE". It is a people who are called together in the earth, for the purpose of manifesting ONE. Now that's the reason you'll never see the Church in the Bible taught outside the realm of the Body of Christ, because that one Body, of which Christ is the Head, that One Body, of which we all are members - that Body is the very ONE - the very ONE MAN - HEAD AND BODY - NEW CREATURE, THE NEW CREATION that the Church is to be a manifestation of. The manifestation of One - That's the Church - "Ecclesia". To Him it is given to be the Head over the manifestation of HIMSELF! Wouldn't you think He would be so? HE IS THE HEAD OVER ALL THINGS TO THAT WHICH EXPRESSES HIM! Wouldn't you think that would be so? And let me tell you something, the Church on earth is nothing more - it can not be anything more than the manifestation of its head - that's what that thing manifests. Because it is not going to manifest anything other than the head. If the church is a religion then man is its head. If the church is an organization, man is its head. Now I didn't say we shouldn't be organized, but you don't bring the church into existence by organization. You bring into organization, into an organizing that which is already in the Lord - that it may become an exact expression of Him in the earth. That's what is to be done in the church - to openly declare the existence of the Church and to identify its leadership. We didn't come here to start a church - we come to recognize an expression of the Body of Jesus Christ, which is the Church! We didn't come to raise up leadership, we come to join ourselves in the laying on of hands to a leadership and recognize the leadership that is already here by the working of the Spirit of God. Do you understand the difference? It is not in my ability to start a church anywhere on the face of the earth. The CHURCH comes into existence when a people become a manifestation of heavenly places. When a people are brought together in His Name for the purpose of manifesting Him - it's a CHURCH, so you might as well call it one. You might as well recognize it as one. You might as well set it in an order because there is an order that it comes into so that it may become a more perfect expression of that Body, which is its purpose. Hallelujah to God! And because in Him there is a Headship, which is Him, that same Headship, which is Him, must be expressed in the Church through a Headship. And you ordain that as the Lord but you don't go start things. Blessed be the Lamb! I didn't come to the islands to start a church. I came to the islands and gave myself to a labor that had been started that it might bring forth its full fruit. I am still joined to that fruit - a fellow laborer with the Lord in His vineyard - yes. We've got to understand something about this business of the Church. In order to understand the Church you've got to look up - not down. You've got to look up here - in the heavenlies - here is the source, the person, the fulfillment. Here is all that the Church is. You don't understand the reflection by looking at the reflection. You understand the reflection by looking at its source. The source of the Church is the Body. And when is the Church going to become a true reflection of the Body? WHEN IT LIFTS UP ITS EYES! When it beholds this new man, of whom Christ is the Head and the fulness and the allness. What color is this old creation man? He's every color - black, white. What color is the new creation man? He isn't any color. This man is neither Jew nor Greek, nor bond nor free, nor black nor white, nor male nor female. The Church has got to express such a man in the earth. There is no such thing as a white church or a black church, a green church, a yellow church, a Mexican church, an African church, a Texas church. There isn't any such thing because if it is then it means that the church is only the expression of its head. So if it's a white church then the Body's got to be white - and it's not. If it's a black church then the Body's got to be black - and it's not. Do you understand what I'm telling you? If it's an American church then America is its head, and all it is, is an expression of America. If it's an African church, then its just an expression of Africa. We've got to understand these things - YOU CAN'T SEPARATE BODY FROM CHURCH, no more than you can separate this body from the shadow it casts out there. But you don't go out there and examine the shadow - you've got to come to the understanding of the person who is casting the shadow. Now I'm not telling you that the church is just a shadow in the earth - it's more than that. I'm using this as an example. The Church is to be the exactness of the Body. The shadow will never be that. But you see right now we're seeing shadows, right now we see through a glass darkly, right now the Church is not a perfect expression, and why? BECAUSE YOU AND I MUST COME TO THE FULL KNOWLEDGE OF THE LORD. And what I'm telling you is we don't seek that in the earth - we seek that IN HIM! We don't produce a perfect expression of Christ by dealing with the Church in earthy issues. See, we have a church in the earth, and in that imperfect expression there are a lot of problems - well, there's no love and there's no faithfulness, and there's no this or that. So what are we supposed to do? Well, let's have a seminar on love! NO! Well, let's teach them how to do this or teach them how to do that - NO! If we're going to have a seminar, let's have a time of bringing HIM INTO VIEW! Because the source of the Church is not to learn how to do things better - the source of the Church is to come into an understanding of their union with Him. HE IS LOVE! HE IS FAITHFULNESS! HE IS ALL OF THOSE THINGS! And then the Church will automatically - because it's not something you learn to do - it's something YOU ARE as a result of LEARNING HIM! So because we separate the Body from the Church, we try to teach the Church how to be the Body. No honey, we must bring you and I into the understanding WE ARE THE BODY and we who in the earth are the Church will live as what we are in the heavens - we will manifest the BODY! If I fall in love with you in heavenly places, isn't that going to cure our problem on earth? If I fall in love with you in heavenly places aren't you and I going to be a manifestation of love in the earth? Aren't we going to be in the earth what we are in the heavens? But in the Church today we come in and find two brothers who don't like each other, or two sisters who don't like each other and we want to sit them down for endless counseling sessions. They don't need to be counseled - they need to come to the KNOWLEDGE OF THE LORD! They don't need to sit there and get all their grievances out on the table and learn how to compromise with each other. They need to come to the knowledge of the Lord. They need to know WHO THEY ARE IN CHRIST - AND BE A MANIFESTATION OF THAT IN THE EARTH. They don't need to be dealt with in the flesh - they need to be dealt with in the Spirit and they'll manifest it in the flesh. But we deal with the Church like it's something aside from Christ - like it's waiting to go to be with Him. NO - the Church is not waiting to go to be with Him. THE CHURCH IS SUPPOSED TO BE A MANIFESTATION OF HIM!! THE CHURCH - THE SOURCE You can't separate the Church from its source - you can't do that. If you do you have made the carnal, drastic mistake of man-made doctrine. You have separated the manifestation from its source and the manifestation will never be perfect. It will never become a perfect manifestation if you separate it from its source. We are growing up in Christ because that's where we are. You can't see yourself in St. Croix - you must see that you are IN HIM! You can't see yourself in this building, you must see you are IN HIM! We are going to walk out of this building, but you're not going to walk out of Him. Next week I'm going to get on a plane and leave St. Croix and go to North Carolina, but I'm not out of Him - I'm in the same place there that I am here, because I am in Him. So I'm going to manifest the same thing there that I do here. I'm going to say the same thing there that I do here. It isn't going to be any different with me. If I'm in a country where the skin is black one week and the next week I'm in a country where all the skin is yellow - see - it's neither nor with me, because in both places I AM IN CHRIST and there, there's no black, yellow, white or brown - it's just HIS BODY - the manifestation of HIM - it doesn't change with me. I don't have a sermon for black people, one for white people, one for yellow people, one for red people. I don't have a church for all those kinds of people because there's just ONE BODY, and the Church is to be an expression of that ONE BODY. The Church is never to be an expression of this body ( the old man). The Church is never to be an expression of white, and black and yellow and brown. The Church is not to be such an expression. If it is, then man - M-A-N is its head, not Christ. It just amazes me - I laugh and look at TV and I laugh, then I cry and then I get angry. I see all of our religious leaders of the church coming together - spending hundreds of thousands of dollars, coming together so that they may discuss the problems in the white community, in the black community, in the red community. The problem of those communities is that they are still recognized in the church as existing. IN CHRIST, in the Body, those communities don't even exist. But the church comes together to discuss the problems - and trying to solve the problems. JESUS SOLVED THE PROBLEM HERE AT THE CROSS! He solved the problem! We don't need to discuss them, we need to get up here (in the heavenlies) in our hearts in the Body of Christ - the CROSS needs to get in our hearts so that we begin to manifest the reality of it in the earth - and that's what you call the Church, that's what you call the Church. This house is not the Church, the Church meets in this place. But even what meets here is the expression of something more than itself. Let's put this Church right here, in this house, right here in St. Croix. The house is not the Church, but the Church is much more than what you see here because this Church is the expression of all the fulness of God in Christ and all the Saints of the ages. My Lord, this place, the Church on the earth is to become an expression of the fulness of Him! That's what we must see - you are part of a larger expression than this right here. And as churches throughout the earth begin to realize that they are part of a larger expression, WHICH IS CHRIST, don't you think that will join them together in fellowship, in understanding, for the purpose of giving a greater expression of that ONE BODY? There's nothing wrong with organizing what is joined together in the Lord. The problem is trying to join it together by organizing. It's got to be joined already. There's nothing wrong with a husband and wife who are joined together in the Lord organizing their household so it will function as a better expression of their marriage. But honey, if that organized household is all that there is in their marriage, if there is no joining together, then it's off to a pitiful start. There's nothing wrong with organizing what is, and what is joined, and what is to be an expression of Him. But you don't bring it into existence by organizing it. That's just like two people moving in and deciding, well, we'll just live together - that is we'll just organize. And they can organize and they can live together but there's no marriage. There's cohabitation, but there's no marriage. You see we can get a bunch of people to come together and get it all organized, but if they are not joined in an expression of the Lord - there's no Church. They can do all that, but it's not an expression of the Church. And these can do all that, but it's not an expression of a marriage, but of two people that are good at organizing things - that's all it is. Two people who decide they can do it cheaper as one. But whatever it is, you can't call it what it isn't and there's nothing wrong with calling it what it is, and in fact you must call it what it is. The problem is denying that is what it is, hiding it, or being ashamed of it. "Because you are ashamed of me in the earth I'm ashamed of you before my Father." Now, honey, we must become an expression in the earth of that which we are in Christ Jesus. I'm telling you, don't handle the problems of the Church by examining the Church. You handle the problems of the Church by examining the heavens. You handle the problems of the Church by learning Christ - by examining there - LEARNING HIM! And when the thing is taken care of here - in your heart, in the heavens, it will be manifested in the earth. That's the reason so often that marriage counseling hardly ever works because the counselor just examines things - teaches them how to rearrange things and is not able to look right down into the depth of the heart and bring together a joining there. When you do that, things take care of themselves. That's the reason "spiritual" counseling hardly ever works because it's just dealing with things. "Well, why don't you like this person?" "Well, I don't like the way they sing." "Well, would you just be willing to just change the way you sing so this person could get along with you?" And people pay good money to go to sessions to hear this stuff. Well we say that we all have to be willing to accept ourselves as we are, everyone's got to be willing to agree that we disagree. What a foundation to build a church on - 'agree that we disagree'. That's not the foundation Jesus declared. No - we've got to see the old creation dead. We've got to see the new man in Christ - here - IN CHRIST - is where we've got to be counseled - by the Counselor, the Prince of Peace, the Almighty God. Hallelujah! Here - IN CHRIST is where we need to be counseled of the Lord. Then we become an expression of Him. That's the Church. OUR RIGHT TO EXIST Ephesians 1:22, "...head over all things to the church (ecclesia) What is the Church? which is HIS BODY." If the Church is not His Body, the manifestation of the Body, the expression of the Body, it has no right to exist on the earth. "The Church, which is His Body, the fulness of Him who is filling all in all." How shall He fill the earth, how shall his knowledge fill the earth? Through the Church! How shall this Christ ever be manifested in all the earth? Through His Church - not through the religious organization calling itself a church - No - through HIS CHURCH - through those who express Him in the earth. And He is beginning to bring forth such a Church. He is beginning to move in the heavens. The Spirit of God is beginning to move in the heavenly places and beginning to deal with the hearts of believers who are beginning to cry out, "Oh, I want to know HIM! I want to know HIM! I want to know HIM!" Oh yes, that's beginning to take place in the heavens. " I WANT TO KNOW HIM." And as that happens, those believers are beginning to be joined together. Where are they joined together? Here in the earth - they are beginning to be joined together in the earth. For what reason? To start another organization? No - to manifest Him - and that we call THE CHURCH! And I for one have had to make a dedication, a decision in my heart, and it's taken me about a year to do it, that I will quit calling anything else the Church. Because I knew when I did it, separation was on its way. And folks, I hate separation. I hate alienation. I want everyone to love me - you do too. But there comes a time when you can not call Church what isn't Church. You just have to say what it is. Now, I haven't called things anything. What I have done is to separate myself in ministry unto what I know is becoming an expression of Him, and in doing that I am calling the Church, the Church. And once you've seen Him, you recognize His expression in the earth. Once you've seen Him, you know whether this is an expression of Him or the ambitions of a man - you know the difference. Because that Spirit of God who is revealing Christ in us, is dividing in us the first man from the second man. The first man is being taken away - the second man is remaining. Honey, you know Him when you meet Him in the earth. No, I'm not against anything, I'm just for seeing the Lord. But I've known for some time, and it comes on me more and more, that the ministry that the Lord has given me is being separated unto that true Church - unto that true expression of Him. Why? - for the purpose that it may become a greater expression - a greater expression. Ministry is given to the true Church for one reason - for the full equipping of the Saints - for the edification of the Body of Christ, for the time that we all come to the unity of the faith, which is the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man. What does that mean? It means this Church becoming a complete expression of this, ONE NEW MAN - that's what the perfect man stands for in your Bible. The term 'perfect man' is referring to a perfect expression of this complete man, this new man. So this Church doesn't become a perfect expression of white, or black, because that's not found in Christ. The Church becomes a people who are perfectly expressing the Lord. Hallelujah! Who are perfectly expressing the Body of Christ! How do you express Him? We express Him in our thinking first, in our thoughts, in our motivations, then in our words, in our actions, our deeds, then in our ministries, in our lives - it becomes a manner in which we live. Not something we do on Sunday. Now for that expression in the earth, this person, I am given - to that expression. And this ministry is separated unto that expression for the purpose of that expression to come to perfection, to come to fulness. So what do I do to that expression, what do I do when I come into it? Deal with the color of its skin? No - deal with Sister So-and-So because she doesn't like Brother...? No - I come into that expression declaring the fulness of this Christ knowing that this expression is only going to be perfected when it comes to the understanding of this fulness of Christ. I come into that expression declaring the Source of that expression. I come into that expression declaring the life of that expression. I come into that expression telling it that it has no reason to exist on this earth except to express THIS CHRIST, THIS BODY - that's what I come in and tell them. In the process of those who are here in this part of the earth, because they are also here in the heavens - in the process of them learning Christ, then wherever they are in the earth, they become an expression of Him. Now that's the only reason I've got for going any place on the face of the earth. That the Church may become a Perfect Man - which is the measure of the fulness of the Stature of Christ - this Christ. THE CHURCH DEVELOPS This is what I am called to minister to, and unto the ministries that the Lord will develop. A Body - the Church is an expression of His Body - His Body - a Body develops. You don't stick things on a body - you don't stick on an arm, and glue on a leg - ministries develop. Oh, we have to go do this or go do that. Oh no, all you have to do is grow up in Him - ministries will develop. You have ministries now. It's not necessary that you have more, it's necessary that the ones you have develop, and it's necessary that in the development of Christ, if others start - fine. They develop - but it isn't necessary to run out and do this, and do this and do this. You see we kill people with that, with religion. We think that because we get them so busy they don't know which way they are going, that we're doing a great work for God. It's true. Ministries develop. Most of those busy, busy things aren't ministries - they are just great wastes of time, and a waste of money. There's no problem if you're busy about ministry, but just to go out and get busy and call it ministry - can get in the way of ministry - ministry develops, And all of the local ministries will be swallowed up in a greater expression - which is HIM! You can't put Him in a box - You put him in a box, He'll break your box and come out of it. You put Him in a tomb and he'll tear up your tomb and come out. We want to see the ministries we're associated with be a living expression of Christ - not a tomb. "See - this is it." No, this is not it. What we have is Him - but what we have now is not a full expression of Him. I want to be a full expression of Him. We're bringing churches together to enhance that expression. Hallelujah to God! And we will stand with ministries as they develop - just as in parenting a child - you just be there - and let them develop and the child will develop as the Lord wills. Well, THE CHURCH IS THE EXPRESSION OF HIS BODY - HIS BODY IS THE FULNESS OF HIM. You can't separate Him from His Body. You can't separate His Body from the Church, and if you do you've made a mistake. All of a sudden it becomes less than Him. If it's less than Him it's beneath Him - man becomes the head of it and there it goes - you've made a drastic mistake. As we have begun in the revelation of the knowledge of Him, we must exercise ourselves daily in the Word and receive it continuously to be an expression of Him. We don't move in fearfulness, we move in faithfulness - with our eyes upon Him, searching Him. We just want to know that there is an increase of the Lord, and not a production of our flesh. We move in faith, His faith, and His faith comes to a people whose hearts are set here in the heavens - on loving Him and then they become the expression of faith in the earth. When He comes will He find faith? THE CHURCH IS TO BECOME AN EXPRESSION OF HIS FAITH IN THE EARTH. Amen. COVENANT MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL 1607 GILLESPIE STREET FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA 28306 14
